I am a cancer survivor. It still feels surreal saying that. As of February 2011, I will have been in remission for one year.

My experience was not easy. There were many days I wanted to give up and give in; but I didn't. I am here. I am alive. Not only did I survive, but I am thriving.

This blog is an expression of my journey. My diagnosis set me on a path of self discovery that has changed my life. I am expanding my horizons, pushing my own boundaries. I am choosing to live a life in which I am constantly moving forward, welcoming change, being authentic to myself.

I am here for a reason. I look forward to the moment when I realize what that reason is. Until then I will laugh. I will love. I will live.

I hope this blog serves as an inspiration and motivation for you to do the same; for life truly is the greatest adventure.
